Professor Qiang Yuexin’s Project Was Approved as a Major Project of National Social Science Fund

Recently, the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the list of major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund in 2020. 15 projects of Wuhan University were selected, ranking second in the country. Professor Qiang Yuexin's project "Research on Media Credibility in the Period of Social Transformation" was selected as a major project. This is the first major project of NSSF held by our school.

The major projects will get the greatest funding from the National Social Science Fund. For universities and scientific research institutions in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, the number of major projects of the fund is an important reflection of a school’s strength. So the selection of major projects has always been highly concerned by the society and academia.
