Advertising Major of SJC Is Approved as "National First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Site"

Recently, the general office of Ministry of Education issued the "Notice of Publishing the List of National and Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites of 2020". Advertising was selected as National First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Site, and the Radio and Television as well as  Communication were selected as the Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites. So far, two majors of SJC (Journalism and Advertising) have been selected as the National First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites, and three majors (Advertising, Radio and Television, and Communication) have been selected as the Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites.

In 2019, the Ministry of Education launched the "Double Ten Thousand Plan" for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors, aiming at comprehensively revitalizing undergraduate education, improving  colleges and universities‘ ability of cultivating talents and realizing the connotative development of Chinese higher education. Since the start of "Double Ten Thousand Plan", SJC has actively participated in the application of national and provincial first-class undergraduate majors. The approval of first-class majors is a milestone for improving our school’s overall education ability and comprehensive competitiveness.
